This response is quite natural. However, after this initial disappointment what we do is what makes the difference. We can either go in misery and look only into the negative aspects of our situations or we can look into benefits that the problem is offering.
And when you do this, you will see that the problem is actually an opportunity. For instance, a problem may point an adjustment which if done can improve your livelihood. But without the problem, you never would have taken that positive action.
Even when you are facing discouragement with your present situation. That is also a blessing because unless and until you feel bored or discouraged doing a particular thing, you will not look for more opportunities, more options by which your life can be better to live.
Your problems when you will look into them deeply actually serve you. As, your mind will see to it that you actually don’t attract your target customers. Now, the question comes is it really what you want? Of course not. We have to stop repeating the negative words.
We all should do positive self-talk. The key is that when you hear these positive thoughts, again and again, it gets stored in your subconscious mind which helps us in taking further actions to actually make our thoughts into reality.
And if you ever want to share your positive thoughts with someone, make sure that person is positive and would do anything in his/her power to assist you.
Your words and physiology go hand in hand. For example, if someone lies to you and you get to know that. Then if you say that I am “angry” or “furious”, then you will suddenly realize that your blood pressure is getting increased whereas if you just simply use words like I am “annoyed”, you will react in a more peaceful way.
Same way if you can replace, “I’ve been destroyed” with “I’ve been set back”. “I am Determined” with “I’m unstoppable”, these exciting words can lift your spirits to a much higher level.
Remember, your words should always be with the life you want to lead and not against it.
HOW ARE YOU??
Our answer to this question seems like such a small thing. But we answer that question at least 10 times a day. So, it’s not a small thing at all. It’s a significant part of our daily conversations.
And hence, you and I should give it special attention as to what reply we usually give on this question. If your reply comprises of “Terrible”, “Lousy”, “It’s not my day”, “Not too bad”, “Same old”, etc. Then you yourself decide reading these replies does it make you excited to be with this person?
Is that the person you want to do business with?
On the other hand, if a person is using words like, “Terrific”, “Fantastic”, “Great”, “I’m on top of the world”, etc. Honestly ask to yourself didn’t these words energized and excited you? Yes, and these are the probable people with whom you would be looking to do business.
It’s this time now, that you and I look into our replies and correct it. Of course, these replies would not make your life’s problems disappear, but you will set yourself in motion towards a positive and fulfilling result in life.
As is said, “You get what you expect in life”. So, why not expect great things as in mediocre thinking is actually taking us nowhere and will not take us in the very future also.
And once you do this, you’ll feel better and others too will want to be around you and that positive results will surely come to you.
STOP COMPLAINING.
How will you feel if someone suddenly loads all his/her problems and complaints on you? Not very uplifting right? The truth is nobody likes to be around a complainer.
Now, “complains” doesn’t mean the instances when you discuss your problems in search of finding solutions. That’s actually constructive and commendable.
But these complaint includes comments including the body aches and pains. The universal fact is nobody is actually interested in anybody’s aches and pains but actually what happens is the person makes the whole environment more of a suffering type which finally encourages others to take an exit from that place.
Moreover, these illness types of complaints follow the escalation principle. For instance, you tell someone that your foot hurts and just count how many seconds it takes for that person to switch the conversation to his/her foot pain. The pain of every other person is bigger than yours. Trust me.
If you can relate these instances with yourself then you need to change your approach to a more optimistic one. As optimistic people tend to have a sense of what’s truly important for them. They focus on more of the things for which they are grateful for rather than complaining.
They are grateful for their life, work, health, house and many other small things which almost all of us can be grateful too. So, next time when you start complaining, pick up a pen and paper and start listing all the reasons you are grateful for. You will find your reasons to complain are a lot less than the reasons you can be grateful for.
IT’S IMPORTANT TO CHOOSE YOUR FRIENDS.

We all know how our parents are concerned about who we hang out with. Our parents want to meet our friends and know all kinds of details about them. Why? Because our parents know that we’d be greatly influenced by our friends and we surely will take up some of their habits. We may sometime feel irritated by their actions but the fact is, THEY ARE CORRECT.
Our life has a huge influence of our friends. So, if you are with toxic people, they will drag you down to their level. They will convince you that you are good for nothing. Same as they are. They will barrage you with all the negative news about the economy, their life, the problems you will have in the future.
We, humans, are like sponges; We ‘soak up” whatever people around us are saying. So, instead of soaking up negative or toxic people saying, it’s important to soak up the sayings of the positive people. The people who actually do rather than just saying.
If you’re really serious about getting a raise or a promotion or a successful growing business, then you have to start associating with people who can take you to the next level. As you do this, you’ll feel better about yourself and have renewed energy to achieve your goals. You’ll surely become more positive and the kind of person others love to be around.
CONFRONT YOUR FEARS AND GROW.

If you want to be successful, you must be willing to be uncomfortable. Yes, to achieve your goals and realize your potential, you must be willing to be uncomfortable. To do things that you’re afraid to do. That’s how you develop your potential.
This fear does not include any physical risk of course but these risks are those challenges that stand in the way of your personal and professional growth. Of course, every person has a different fear threshold. The fear can even be asking someone for directions. But overcoming these fears is the main thing and also the best thing.
But this overcoming fear is completely a choice. You can either opt for it or you don’t but there is a price of not opting it. The price is of low self-esteem, you feel powerless and frustrated, you lead an uneventful, boring life. Trust me, you and I both don’t deserve this life. We deserve the best and the best will come when we choose to overcome our fears.
So, how to overcome fear? By building a “can-do” attitude. This will provide you that extra push needed. When you believe you can do something, you have the courage to move forward despite being afraid. Decide to become a participant and live your life instead of watching others fulfill their dreams.
Life will not reward you if you refuse to expose yourself to difficulties and challenges. It’s important that you put yourself in a position to win, and that means taking action despite fear.
GET OUT THERE AND FAIL.

As adults, most of us become a lot more concerned about the opinions of others, often hesitating because people may criticize us. But we were not this from our childhood, we were persistent, we believed in repetition and we felt joy in doing it no matter how much it takes to succeed. Of course, not to forget the power of positive encouragement that we got from our parents who were extremely supportive in our growth journey.
But as we grow older, we think falling off as a bad thing, rather than an essential part of the process of achieving our goal. We take our eyes off from our goals and instead focus on other people opinion which most of the time are not at all encouraging.
We must remember that to develop a new skill or a target, we must be committed. Being proficient at any skill requires time, effort and discipline and the willingness to persevere through whatever difficulties may arise.
All the big personalities we know, realize that success, to a large extent is a matter of trying every day, developing yourself and keep making adjustments along the way. It’s just about trying that one more time before the day ends.
When you build up this attitude of trying every day, for you there will be no such thing as “failure”. There are only results, some more successful than others. Failure doesn’t mean you’ve reached the end of the line and that success isn’t possible. The only time success is impossible is when you quit. Quitting is final.
WHY AM I NOT GETTING THE RESULTS??
If you aren’t getting the results you expect, then it’s time to ask some questions to yourself. The questions are:
- Do I have an unrealistic timetable?? Maybe you expect to skip certain steps required for success and look for the grand scale. Look, success is achieved by climbing one step at a time. Nobody can skip steps and expect greater results. Be patient with yourself and don’t compare your progress with others. Just maintain a great attitude, take action, make adjustments and the results will surely come.
- Am I truly committed?? It’s essential to be willing to do whatever it takes and that you banish any thought of giving up before you accomplish your objective.
- Do I have too many discouraging influences?? Analyse your surroundings, if you hang around with negative people who are doing very little in their own lives, your energy and commitment will automatically drain out. Thus, develop a network of achievers or at least people who are trying to achieve something big.
- Am I preparing to succeed?? Successful people are always sharpening their skills. Those getting negative outcomes often do the same things over and over again without making necessary adjustments. So, accept the fact that you don’t already know it all and find resources that will keep you on track.
- Am I truly willing to fail?? Failure is inevitable. You will encounter defeat prior to success. Truth is when you’re not afraid to fail, you’re well on the way to success. So, welcome failure and not avoid it.
NETWORKING THAT GETS RESULTS.

You can’t succeed on a grand scale all by yourself, and here is where Networking plays a big part in our lives. Networking is a way to leverage your own efforts and accelerate the pace at which you get results. After all, the more solid relationships you build, the greater your opportunities for success.
In the business arena, networking can generate new business leads, can increase employment opportunities, helps to find the right people, and also provide valuable information and resources.
Not only in the business arena, but personally too networking can enhance our social relationships by introducing to new friends, help you to become familiar with people of varying ethnic and cultural background, provide valuable information and resources, and contribute to your spiritual growth.
Now, there is a technique that will help us in creating more stronger networks. They are:

Remember networks are built over time. So be patient! Build a solid foundation of relationships and continue to expand and strengthen them. You’ll have to put in a lot before you begin reaping the big rewards.
